Hailey and Trey got engaged in Aspen and we photographed the proposal and some engagement photos afterwards!

Hailey had no idea that Trey was planning to propose when he took her for a walk through the John Denver Sanctuary. We pretended we were pedestrians taking pictures of scenery as they were approaching the park. When Trey got down on one knee on the Ron Krajian Bridge, we were ready for the moment! Hailey was shocked, excited, and teary-eyed. We continued around the John Denver Sanctuary Park for more photos. Then we strolled through town to the Silver Queen Gondola for photos at the Sundeck at the top of Aspen Mountain Ski Resort. These two didn’t seem to notice the wind and cold as we walked around capturing photos facing every direction with the beautiful backdrop!

It was a blast watching them being congratulated by skiers for the first time as an engaged couple. We then rode the gondola back down and finished up with some photos at Wagner Park. After photos, their immediate families joined them in town (which was also a surprise to Hailey!) Aspen is always a beautiful city to capture and we can’t thank this awesome couple enough for including us in their big day.
