Belmar Park Engagement Photos — We met Danica and Jonathan at Belmar Park in Lakewood for their engagement photos a couple weeks ago! They chose this location because it is where they have spent a lot of time together and more importantly, it is where Jonathan proposed! These two were so fun to hang out with and it was easy to see how much they love spending time together. They also both really love animals, so we made sure to get some photos with the baby geese. They told us that Belmar Park is home to a “duck-goose” that they see there often. Unfortunately, this unique creature didn’t make an appearance for us haha.

We loved exploring Belmar Park! Jacob and I had never been even though it is so close to Denver. There is a beautiful trail as well as a lake and lots of trees. It’s perfect for outdoor-loving people who want to escape from the city but not drive far into the mountains. It was also easy to get a variety of photos at this park! Between the lake, the docks, groves of trees, farm equipment, flowers, and a beautiful sunset… it was a perfect session!

Danica and Jonathan, we are SO excited to photograph your wedding this September in Estes Park! We can’t wait to hang out with you again, get to know your families, and document your wedding story!!
