Their Colorado State University Wedding
CSU Football Stadium Wedding Photos in Fort Collins — Morgan and Ken got married at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado! They wanted an outdoor ceremony, but the weather was not in their favor so they had their ceremony indoors! After their ceremony, the sun came out and we were able to take photos on the football field and also on central campus at CSU.
How They Met
Morgan and Ken met six years ago as freshman at Colorado State University. They lived on the same floor of Summit Hall, just three doors apart from each other. During second semester, they started spending more and more time together. After hikes at Horsetooth Reservoir, movie nights in the dorms, and walking to class together, they starting dating!
Their First Date
For their first date, Morgan and Ken had dinner at Panhandler’s Pizza. Then they had dessert at the Chocolate Café. Panhandler’s pizza is not only a Fort Collins institution but also the restaurant where Ken’s parents had date nights while they were in college!
The Proposal
Morgan and Ken have spent a lot of time running on the Highline Canal Trail in Denver. This is where they trained for their first half marathon. In July 2016, they went to a lake right on the trail for a picnic dinner. After dinner, they went for a walk around the lake. To Morgan’s surprise, there was a wooden arch set up. Ken got down on one knee and proposed! The Highline Canal is special to Morgan and Ken because they spent countless hours running together and had the opportunity to talk without interruption. It’s also where they learned to challenge each other and where they accomplished so many running milestones. Morgan and Ken hope to continue to challenge each other and to continue to grow both as a couple and as individuals.
