Katie and Dave were the winner from the bridal show contest at Boettcher Mansion’s Autumn Bridal Show last October! Katie currently lives in California and Dave in Chicago, but we were able to coordinate a time when they would both be in Colorado again to do their engagement photos! It was a very windy and cloudy day in the mountains, but about five minutes into our session, the wind calmed down and we were able to get some great shots! Huge kudos to both Dave and Kate (but especially Katie) for braving the cold and doing the entire session without their winter coats!

I’m thrilled to be photographing their wedding as well (on New Year’s Eve!) because these two are such naturals in front of the camera!
