Lindsey came to me a few weeks ago asking if I could be their wedding photographer. Unfortunately, the dates didn’t work out, but I was THRILLED when she asked if I could take their engagement photos! We took the first set of photos at Iowa State University, where Luke and Lindsey met.
I recently did a bridal show and had some of Luke and Lindsey’s photos on display. At least eight different people talked about how Luke looked so familiar. That might be because he wrestles for Iowa State. Lindsey worked at the university’s rec center and Luke was constantly in and out for practice. Lindsey must have caught his eye because they’ve been inseparable ever since. They now have an adorable dog named Ellie and they are planning a beautiful June wedding next year.
At this point, Luke was saying how he just didn’t like having his picture taken, especially posed photos. So I told them to just walk away, holding hands and if he felt like doing something spontaneous, he should. And this is what he did…
Aren’t these two just adorable?! We then we to Ada Hayden Park for the second half of their session. I don’t know how it’s possible, but they just got cuter and cuter…
