On April 18th, 2015, Makanani & Shea celebrated with close friends and family at Jester Park Lodge. Makanani is from Hawaii, so they decided to incorporate a few Hawaiian wedding customs & traditions into their gorgeous and intimate wedding ceremony. Makanani’s brother blew the conch shell right before Makanani walked down the aisle, Makanani & Shea exchanged leis at the beginning of the ceremony, presented their parents with leis, and there were Hawaiian dancers at the reception, along with singers and ukelele players.

Even though it was a rainy day, we still managed to capture some beautiful pictures outside, every time the rain would subside even if just for a few minutes. Shea & Makanani were so great to work with and it is obvious how abundant their love is for each other, and for their son, Kane!
