Panorama Point Proposal Photos of Thomas + Lindsey
Panorama Point Proposal Photos in Boulder Colorado by Shea McGrath Photography | Boulder Engagement Photographer
Thomas + Lindsey
Photographing proposals can be more stressful than photographing weddings or really any other event! To add to that stress, every proposal I’ve photographed has been at a location where I have either minimal or NO phone service! Haha so in most cases, the person proposing and I send a pin to make sure we’re going to meet at the right location. So there is the stress of keeping it a secret, making sure nothing goes wrong, trusting the photographer will be at the correct location, making sure the photographer stays somewhat hidden or blends in with the crowd, and capturing the moment! Once the proposal happens and she says yes, everyone can take a deep breath! 😉
Thomas reached out to me a few days before he was planning to propose in November. His girlfriend (now fiancee!) Lindsey, knew it was coming, but didn’t know exactly when it would happen. So there was still the element of surprise that we needed to pull off! Thomas sent a pin and said he wanted to meet at Panorama Point in Boulder. I always arrive 30+ minutes early for proposals (just in case!) so once I arrived, I scoped out the area and got everything ready. Shortly after, I saw them park and get out of the car. I pretended to be taking in the scenery at the overlook spot and once I saw Thomas pull out the ring, I started snapping away! Lindsey was surprised, excited, and said, “Yes!” After the excitement and explaining the plan and secrets, we walked around Panorama Point and took some engagement photos. Panorama Point offered amazing views of the city of Boulder! Congratulations Thomas and Lindsey! I’m so excited for you!!
