Denver engagement photography — I loved this engagement session for many reasons! I photograph most engagement photos in the mountains, so when Kathleen told me that she and AJ wanted to have their engagement photos taken in the city, I was excited for the change of scenery! Kathleen and AJ and I met at Zuni Street Brewing in the Highlands first. We sat outside on their patio and talked for a while before taking pictures. We discovered that we have so many mutual friends in common! AJ went to college in Iowa (where I’m from) and when I told him where in Iowa I’m from, he said almost all of his college friends are from the same small town! Turns out, I went to high school with a few of his friends that are going to be his groomsmen in their wedding this fall! Such a small world. 🙂

RiNo District Engagement Photos

Next, we drove to the RiNo district in Denver. We took a couple photos in front of Los Chingones restaurant (where Kathleen and AJ had their first date.) Then we walked down Larimer St where a lot of the cool wall murals are and finished their session there! It was so fun getting to know Kathleen and AJ, exploring Denver, and discovering what a small world it is together!
