Savanna Game Reserve Sabi Sands South Africa Safari
South Africa Wildlife Photographer – Shea McGrath Photography
It has taken me a few months, but I’ve finally blogged about my trip to South Africa from this past April! Being a huge animal lover, it may have been my favorite trip I’ve ever taken. Even though getting there was rather long (almost 40 hours), it was well worth it. We stayed at Savanna Game Reserve in the Sabi Sands and went on 6 safaris. Every safari was unique and different in its own way; we saw leopards, lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, wild dogs, rhinos, hippos, wildebeests, buffalo, hyenas, impalas, owls, and more. It far exceeded my expectations and I would HIGHLY recommend this trip to every single person I know.
On every morning safari, we were able to get out of the vehicle and stopped for a coffee break. Every evening safari we stopped for a cocktail 😉
We went into the nearby village to meet some of the locals and they sang and danced for us!

The most incredible African sunset during one of our safaris 🙂

You are a very, very, most excellent photographer. My dad would’ve loved your sunset pictures! Can’t decide which is my favorite, but the cubs are pretty cute!
