Lily Lake Wedding | Shea McGrath Photography
Summer and Joss were married at Lily Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park last July. They drove here from Iowa, with their friends and family and had a very small, intimate destination weddings in the mountains! They also had a self-solemnization ceremony, which means they didn’t have an officiant! It was my first time photographing a wedding like this, and it was so cool to witness! They said their vows, exchanged rings after every family member had blessed the rings by being passed in a circle with a string, and pronounced themselves as husband and wife!
After their ceremony, we took a few more pictures then drove to their reserved campsite in Rocky Mountain National Park where they had a barbecue with their friends and family! It was such a beautiful day full of happy tears and lots of laughter. I love these sweet, intimate ceremonies!
