Black Canyon Inn Wedding

Danica and Jonathan met online and they had their first date at a tea shop where they played cribbage! Jonathan claims that he lost because he could not count properly due to how beautiful Danica’s green eyes were. 😉

Danica and Jonathan started their wedding day early! Since they had a late morning ceremony, we started pictures at 8:30am. Danica and the girls were all hanging out in one cabin getting ready. Her sister-in-law did Danica’s makeup and Danica did her own hair! I later learned that Danica has SO many talents! She incorporated a lot her own creativity into their wedding day which was so cool! They painted/designed their invitations, made their own bouquets/boutonnieres, and handmade their centerpieces just to name a few!

It was a cold and foggy morning, but the leaves had just begun to change which made for a beautiful setting! These two had their first look on the bridge over the pond, then we continued with a few more photos before their ceremony. Black Canyon Inn offers such a stunning backdrop at their ceremony site and it did not disappoint on September 28th! Danica and Jonathan had the sweetest ceremony surrounded by their family and friends under the pavilion.

Reception at The River Church

In the morning, the temperature was in the 40s. But by the time we got to the reception, the sun was out and it was hot enough for ice cream! Since ice cream is one of Danica’s favorite foods, they hired Little Man Ice Cream to come out and serve a few flavors for their wedding guests! Danica and Jonathan’s reception started with their first dances and then a barbecue lunch. Then it was time for toasts, a few pictures by the river, and some fun lawn games!
