Chatfield Botanic Gardens Wedding

Chatfield Farms Wedding Photos — Shannon and Spencer had their wedding at Chatfield Farms in Littleton, Colorado! If you haven’t heard of this venue or toured it, I highly recommend it! This is such a beautiful space, especially for weddings. Chatfield Farms is run by Denver Botanic Gardens. They have a wonderful outdoor wedding ceremony space that faces the foothills with a gazebo. And they now have two wedding reception spaces! Both of which are wonderful spaces with outdoor reception options. Shannon and Spencer had their reception at the Red Barn and spent most of the evening dancing outside!

How They Met

Shannon and Spencer first met at one their computer science courses. The first time they hung out was when they were studying for the final in that class. They started studying together in hopes that they wouldn’t fail the class. They both failed the final but passed the class! Soon after, they went on their first date which included Olive Garden and ice skating!

The Proposal

Spencer proposed to Shannon underneath a Christmas tree while they were reenacting their first date, exactly one year after their first date! Shannon’s sister and mom were hiding behind some trees trying to get pictures of the proposal!
