How They Met
Heather and Theo traveled from Texas, where the two of them met working at the same spa! They said they were low key dating without even realizing, going on “friend dates” all the time.
The Proposal
There was a huge rose arrangement on the seat of the car when Theo picked Heather up to go on a surprise picnic in the park. He proposed with champagne and lots of yummy food!
Their Colorado Elopement
Heather and Theo chose to elope at sunrise on Squaw Pass! It was one of the coldest mornings ever last October. While in the parking lot, I saw it was 20 degrees outside and not only is that a cold temp, but the wind that morning was crazy! It was SO cold and windy (by far the coldest elopement I photographed last year, if not the coldest ever.) But that didn’t stop Heather and Theo from enjoying THEIR day! Obviously they were cold, but they were still so so happy to be getting married that morning in the Rocky Mountains. I mean, look at the smiles on their faces in this first photo!
