Winter Engagement Photos

Winter and Tommy currently live in different states and they decided to meet in the middle (Colorado, also where Winter’s family lives) last fall to take their engagement photos! Since they were coming out of town, we didn’t have too many days to reschedule if we needed. So when we saw that snow was in the forecast for that October morning, I asked if they wanted to push their session back a day. Winter said they were still down to meet early! We originally planned on having their session at sunrise, but with the snow, there obviously wasn’t much of a sunrise. We met early that morning at Lair o’ the Bear Park in Idledale. Since it was still dark, I set up some flashes which made for some fun photos in the snow!

We took A LOT of car breaks since it was in the single digits. Their first outfits were pretty warm, but then they switched to their more formal outfits and Winter wore a dress and heels! I have no idea how she didn’t freeze to death, but Tommy was helpful and carried her from location to location. 🙂 Even though it was freezing cold during their session, I had so much fun hanging out with and getting to know these two! Congratulations Winter and Tommy on your engagement!
