Hello!

We are Shea and Jacob, a husband and wife wedding photography team based in Denver, Colorado. We love photographing weddings all over the Rocky Mountains as well as all over the world. So if you are getting married in the city of Denver, having a mountain wedding, or planning a destination wedding, we'd love to get to know you!

Our Wedding Photography Philosophy:

We take a photojournalistic approach to wedding photography, which basically means we love candids. Most photographers are trained to focus on the big moments throughout a wedding day (the ceremony, first kiss, first dance, etc.) and we capture those too, but what we really love photographing are those unpredictable, unscripted, in between moments. The anticipation you feel while getting ready, your veil falling out on a windy day, a child throwing a tantrum during family photos, your grandparents holding hands during the ceremony, tears running down your families' faces during your vows, reactions to hilarious toasts, and terrible dance moves on the dance floor after your guests have had too much to drink. ;)

Our goal is to capture as many images on your wedding day that have beautiful light, composition, and moment all in one photograph. We believe every wedding is unique and we want to photograph your day from start to finish with all the little moments that help tell the whole story. When you look back at your photos, we want you to remember what your day felt like.

FUN FACTS ABOUT US

We got married in November of 2018 with 50 of our closest friends and family. We rented a big house in Breckenridge and had our ceremony in the backyard next to Blue River. It was the best day.

When we aren't photographing weddings, we still love photography. We've really enjoyed astrophotography lately!

Every year, we Photoshop our cat, Ophelia ("Ophie") in our holiday card. This is one of our favorites.

We love to travel! One of our favorite trips together was visiting Northern Ireland.

When Jacob and I first talked about getting engaged, I told him my only stipulation was that I wanted to be surprised. He surprised me big time at the end of our swing dance class in front of everyone. In hindsight, I should've had a second stipulation about not proposing in front of a crowd. :P But actually, I wouldn't have changed a thing. It was very us aka very awkward ;)

We bought our first house in 2021 in the craziest market, all so Ophie could have more stairs to play on, windows to look out of, and squirrels and birds to watch.
