Garden of the Gods Elopement
Shea McGrath Photography – Colorado Wedding and Elopement Photographer
Shelayne and Lance contacted me about a month before they eloped at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. They had just moved to Colorado together a few months prior and they came from Florida – they had never seen snow before! They decided they wanted a new life together here in Colorado, and what better place to elope than Garden of the Gods, which is just 5 minutes from their new home! They had visited GOG almost every afternoon since they moved to Colorado to hike and explore the best spots. Shelayne wanted there to be snow for their elopement, but the entire month of February had been 70 and sunny since we were having such a warm/dry winter this year! However, the day before (and even the day of, towards the end of their elopement!) it had finally snowed! They were champs for being able to hike up all those rocks in their wedding attire in the freezing cold!
Congratulations you two on your beautiful Garden of the Gods elopement!
