We’ve been excited to share Courtney and Landon’s Hotel Jerome wedding photos for so while now! But first, here’s a little bit about the couple:

How they met

Courtney and Landon met at Colorado State University during our freshman year of college. Landon lived above Courtney in the dorms and would always play his music too loudly. Courtney also had a couple of friends who lived across from him and they would all hang out. They started out by being good friends before dating.

Their first date was a little funny because Landon took Courtney to a restaurant that neither of them could afford. Courtney thinks that he really wanted to impress her. They had a great time on the date but decided to stop seeing each other. Later, they reconnected towards the end of freshman year and now they have been together ever since.

How he proposed

According to Courtney, Landon‘s proposal was epic! He planned a trip for them to have a weekend get-a-way in Napa. He had planned for them to go on several wine tastings; however, things never go according to plan. As they were arriving to the first vineyard, they got a flat tire. It was an interesting start but ended up being extraordinary. After they got the tire fixed, they went to their last vineyard of the day. Landon asked the staff to seat them in a private area that was covered in rose petals. He got down on one knee and popped the question! To commemorate all of the excitement, the day afterwards they went skydiving!

Their Hotel Jerome Wedding in Aspen

Courtney and Landon had a larger wedding with their friends and family who all traveled to Aspen to see them get married. Because neither of them is from Aspen, it was more of a destination wedding for everyone! They had their ceremony in the courtyard on the most beautiful September day, where they also enjoyed cocktail hour afterwards. Their reception took place in Hotel Jerome’s beautiful ballroom. These two were so much fun to photograph and they’re such kind people. We really enjoyed photographing their extraordinary wedding day!
