Lake Dillon Family Photos — I’ve been so excited to share these fall family photos of this GORGEOUS family! These beautiful people were visiting from out of town, and they wanted to set up a photo shoot while on vacation in the mountains. Later, I found out they are from Iowa, too! Although they are Hawkeye fans and I’m a Cyclone, they still let me photograph them. 😉

We met at Sapphire Point, a beautiful spot that overlooks Lake Dillon. However, Sapphire Point doesn’t have a lot of aspen trees and it was almost the end of peak season for the aspens! So I took them to a beautiful spot down by the lake that still had some pretty fall color! We got some wonderful golden light through the aspen trees just in time before sunset. This was seriously such a perfect family session and I loved getting to know this fellow Iowan family so much! Hopefully you guys come out again next year! 😉
