They had a couple classes together while in med school at the University of Iowa. Late one night, they were both studying at Java House, a local coffee shop. They were the only two people left, so they got to talking…. and I guess you could say the rest is history! Royce proposed a couple years later and now they are planning a beautiful June 2015 wedding in Iowa City, all while doing their residencies! Royce is working in neurology and Lisa in pediatrics. I have no doubt in my mind that these two will have successful careers as well as a beautiful marriage!
We met a couple weeks ago in Iowa City for their engagement session, which just so happened to be the day after the first snowfall this year…. so it was a little cold, but it made for some breathtaking photos….
Next, we headed over to the med school building to take a few more photos (and to warm up!)…
Java House was our next stop… Then we walked along the ped-mall to find the alleyway of lights…
