Namar Event Center Wedding

They first started talking on Facebook, after Michaela had posted a picture and Billy commented on it. One of Michaela’s friends informed Billy that she was single and so they started making light conversation over Facebook. About a month later, both Michaela and Billy were invited to be in the same wedding party for some mutual friends. Not only that, but they were going to be paired up! They have been inseparable ever since. Fast forward to three years later when Michaela came home from work to a house full of candles and Billy waiting for her down on one knee…

Michaela and Billy decided to have their wedding in South Padre Island, where Michaela’s mother lives. They invited all of their friends and family from the Midwest and spent a week preparing for the wedding of their dreams. They were married at the very elegant Namar Event Center and even though it was an extremely windy day, it didn’t stop them from getting married outside.

Michaela’s closest friends gave her a scrapbook full of thoughtful letters, memories, and photos…

Michaela and Billy opted to not see each other before the ceremony, but they did exchange letters and have an intimate, pre-ceremony moment together…

Billy was so thrilled to see his bride for the first time, he quickly came down the stairs and went straight in for a kiss/hug from Michaela! It was the sweetest thing!

Then it was time for the reception in the beautiful Namar Event Center…

Michaela’s niece came up to them right before Billy was going to take off the garter!

They ended their night with family and friends gathered around, singing Journey’s, “Don’t Stop Believing”
