Leslie and David are two of the sweetest people. They reached out and explained they were planning a small ceremony in June and only their immediate families were attending. Usually, couples that have smaller weddings or elopements don’t book an engagement session, but Leslie and David definitely wanted to and that made me so happy! I love being able to connect with couples before their wedding day. Engagement sessions are even better because they can get used to being in front of the camera. They decided to have their session at Sprague Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. Sprague Lake is great in the winter because it’s one of the prettiest places in the park that is open year round. It’s also very accessible, has a large parking lot, and even has bathrooms for wardrobe changes. We walked about halfway around the lake with their first outfit and then they changed into their other outfit for the second half of their session. It was so fun getting to know these two kind people. I’ve since photographed their wedding and can’t wait to share those photos in a blog post soon!!
