You might recognize these two from their engagement session! They came out to Colorado to have their engagement photos taken in the mountains – Click here to see photos from their engagement session.) I’ve known Janelle for several years since I’m good friends with her sister in law. When Janelle reached out about wedding photography after she got engaged I was so excited that we would be able to photograph her and Taylor’s wedding!

They planned their wedding during the pandemic so they weren’t sure what to expect by the time their wedding came around. They ultimately decided to have their ceremony at the gazebo in Mt. Vernon, the town where Janelle grew up, and their reception at Janelle’s parent’s house. Fun fact: Taylor proposed in Mt. Vernon in the same gazebo where they had their ceremony!

Janelle got ready at her parent’s house and Taylor got ready at an AirBnb in town. Then they had their first look in the gazebo and then we spent some time taking pictures around the park. They had the sweetest, emotional ceremony which brought tears to everyone watching! After a few more pictures, everyone headed back to Janelle’s parent’s house for their backyard tent reception where everyone celebrated Janelle and Taylor with tacos and cake. 😉
