How They Met

Megan worked with Christian’s dad and he brought him to their company picnic. Megan said it was love at first sight for both of them and that all of their coworkers would agree! After meeting at the company picnic, Megan and Christian made plans to go out to dinner, but Megan wasn’t feeling well that day. Instead of canceling, Christian came over, and they ordered takeout, and took care of Megan!

The Proposal

Megan says she knew the proposal was coming, she just didn’t know when or how. Christian is a big practical joker and likes to call Megan from other rooms then scare her, so he called for her and she begrudgingly went to find him. She opened the bathroom door and found him down on one knee! She said it wasn’t the most romantic but definitely made her laugh and that’s much more them than roses and champagne.

Their Intimate Wedding in Woodland Park

Megan and Christian had a small wedding at an Airbnb in Woodland Park, Colorado. Megan’s father has Alzheimer’s and Christian’s grandmother has Parkinson’s. That is a big reason why they had such a small wedding during Covid. Christian wanted his grandma to be present and Megan wanted her dad to remember walking her down the aisle. Family is so important to Megan and Christian! They had their ceremony right at sunset on the back deck of the house, with beautiful mountain views! Their immediate families surrounded them (included their dog!) as they said their vows. We took a few pictures after the ceremony and then they had a nice meal together with their families!
