I have been dying to blog this incredible Boettcher Mansion Wedding for months now! Jamie and Paul’s wedding is still one of my all time favorite weddings to this day. Jamie and Paul met while working at a camp together as counselors in upstate New York. Jamie has her degree in culinary and now she and Paul own a pretzel business called Schnibs Pretzels. They make pretzels together all night every night, deliver them every morning and then sleep during the day. You already want to be friends with them don’t you?!

They got married in Genesee Colorado at Boettcher Mansion surrounded by their super fun friends and family. Jamie and Paul are one of the most easy going, joyful, and carefree couples I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. Their wedding included lots of DIY decorations, including Jamie’s wedding dress, which her mother made by hand. They brought their own arch for their ceremony which was also made by a family member. Jamie and her mother put together all of the centerpieces as well, which were prefect for this October wedding. Even their cake was made by Jamie’s friend which was the best wedding cake I have ever tried (and I’ve tried lots of wedding cake over the years)! She even made it pretzel-themed. Their toasts included lots of embarrassing speeches from their family members which made every wedding guest burst out in uncontrollable laughter and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. They had their first dance outside to a non-traditional, faster paced song and danced like no one was watching. They ended the night with the horah, which I think was unexpected from the bride and groom 😉
