When they first met, NiCole didn’t want anything to do with him. After his persistence, she finally decided to give him a chance and they went out for drinks. On their first date, NiCole was upfront with Casey and told him exactly what she was looking for – “marriage, kids, the whole thing.” At the end of her speech she said, “Are you in?” and his response was, “Yes.” A couple years later, he asked for her hand in marriage and SHE said “yes!” This was the first couple I’ve met where the groom planned the wedding! NiCole was in charge of planning the honeymoon, and they just got back from Aruba! I have been so excited to share these photos ever since October 18th, 2014… the day Casey & NiCole tied the knot (literally!) This was one of the greatest weddings I’ve ever had the privilege of witnessing. Casey and NiCole celebrated their “Sweetest Day” at the ISU Alumni Center in Ames, Iowa, where both the ceremony and reception took place. It all started with a fun surprise from NiCole’s dog, Doodles….
Casey & NiCole opted to not see each other before the ceremony, but NiCole did have a “First Look” with her father….

Then it was time for the ceremony. Casey & NiCole’s wedding ceremony was full of many serious moments as well as LOTS of laughter! Which was so fun to photograph…
Then Casey & NiCole signed their marriage license and went outside for more photos…

Next, it was time for the funnest wedding reception I’ve ever had the honor of photographing! Including a fun slideshow of how it all started for Casey & NiCole, delicious food, beautiful speeches, a surprise visit from ISU’s mascot, Cy, lots of good dance moves, and the night ended with a plank-off on the dance floor!
Casey & NiCole, it was truly an honor to not only be present at your wedding, but to capture it with photos! You two are truly amazing and the love you have for each other is so beautiful! I wish you nothing but a lifetime of pure joy and happiness together! Enjoy every minute of married life.
