Telluride Colorado Elopement Photos

Colorado Adventure Elopement — I’ve photographed more elopements this year than ever before. A big reason for this has to do with Covid-19, with many large weddings either having to be postponed or reduced in size. Some couples have decided to just elope! However, Jenna and Alex always knew they didn’t want a big traditional wedding. That being said, they still had to change their original wedding plans due to Covid!

Jenna and Alex are high school sweethearts and have traveled to 49 states together! The one state left is Hawaii, which is where they originally planned on eloping. Since Covid affected their original elopement plans, they decided to elope in one of their favorite places that they’ve traveled to in the past – Telluride, Colorado. They road tripped all the way from Pennsylvania with their adorable dog and Jenna’s two younger brothers. Her brothers were a huge help with holding lights for me, watching their dog, and one of them even had a GoPro attached to his head the whole time!

These two are one of the most adventurous couples I’ve had the pleasure of photographing! They knew they wanted an adventurous-filled wedding day and a variety of backdrops for their photos. We took photos all over the Telluride area and hiked to the most incredible waterfall! We found meadows, lakes, waterfalls, and ended the day with some sunset photos on top of the San Sophia Station gondola ride.
