Dream Lake Engagement Photos in Rocky Mountain National Park

Dream Lake Engagement Photos — When I first met Rita and Jason on a Zoom call, I knew right away we’d be a great fit. These two met in high school separated in locker order only by Jason’s twin brother in junior high!  While they had been around each other, they formally met in 10th grade when Rita ran laps with Jason in gym class trying to play matchmaker with him and one of her friends.  Rita was quickly drawn to Jason‘s kind and gentle nature. They began dating shortly after, but split up when they went separate ways after high school. Rita stayed in Minnesota and Jason went to Chicago.

After some time apart, they navigated the process of dating again, this time knowing the grass is greener where you water it!  They have known for a long time that we are each others’ person, but only recently did they decide that marriage and having a wedding is a part of their story they want to write.  They said that it has definitely brought them closer.

These fellow midwesterners are two of the kindest people and we’ve really enjoyed getting to know them. We’ve since photographed their wedding, but for now here are photos of their engagement session at Dream Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. RMNP is also where Jason proposed to Rita at Ouzel Falls. So having their engagement session in the park seemed like the perfect place.
