How They Met

Ruthie and Drew met through a mutual friend, who was Ruthie’s friend from high school. She is one of her best friends and worked with Drew when he moved to Colorado from Chicago. Ruthie and Drew went on their first date to Max Gill N Grill. It was a beautiful summer evening and Drew did everything to be a perfect gentleman!

How Did You Know Drew Was the One?

Ruthie: “I think not too long after he smiled at me, but really when he took me out of my comfort zone. We went on camping trips that were beyond what I would normally sign up for, and I loved it.”

How Did You Know Ruthie Was the One?

Drew: “Early on. Especially when Ruthie became part of the family and made Christmas gifts for my little cousins.”

The Proposal

Drew and Ruthie take an annual trip to Telluride. It was their third year going and they hiked to the top of Bear Creek Falls. There was snow over their knees and when they got to the top, Drew got down on one knee in a foot of snow! Then it started snowing some more! He popped the question and of course Ruthie said YES!

Glenmoor Country Club Wedding

Glenmoor Country Club Wedding — Ruthie and Drew started the day by getting ready at Glenmoor Country Club. Once they were dressed and ready to go, everyone made their way to the ceremony! They got married at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, close to downtown Denver. After the ceremony, we stopped by Cheesman Park to take some photos of the bridal party and of Ruthie and Drew, right as the sun was going down. It was such a beautiful day for November! We made our way back to Glenmoor Country Club for their reception. The spent the entire evening dancing away and celebrating with their friends and family!
