I can’t even begin to describe how perfect Laura & Brent’s wedding day was at Wooden Wheel Vineyards in Keota, IA! The weather forecast had said it was going to rain the entire day, and there wasn’t one raindrop, until the ceremony was over and we were all done with pictures, then it down-poured right when the indoor reception began!

This wedding was filled with intricate, DIY decorations. Even each of the bridesmaids put together their own bouquets! Their wedding day fell on Mother’s Day this year, 5/10/15. The couple presented their mothers with flowers during the ceremony and Laura presented both her mother and mother-in-law with beautiful necklaces.

Laura & Brent were introduced in November 2011 by their mutual friend, Caitlin, who was Laura’s maid of honor. One evening, Caitlin invited the two of them over and Laura & Brent instantly felt a connection and spent the whole night talking. The following evening, they went on their first date to an ice cream parlor in West Des Moines.

Laura & Brent currently live in California, so they were thrilled to have an intimate, beautiful wedding in Iowa, where their families live, with the opportunity for everyone to come together.
