Northern Ireland Travel Photos — Jacob and I were finally able to travel to Europe together for the first time last September! Since we knew we would be going to Spain to photograph Maria and Felix’s wedding, we wanted to take advantage of our time overseas. So we decided to explore another country! Jacob has always wanted to see Ireland and I wanted to travel somewhere that I had never been, so we decided on Northern Ireland!

We flew from London to Dublin, then rented a car. I highly recommend that you do not do in Dublin; driving on the left side in a tiny car with crazy drivers that just don’t care if they hit you… it was scary. However, we LOVED having the car in Northern Ireland. The roads were pretty isolated and there was so much beauty. We also loved being able to stop wherever we wanted along the way, including Belfast!

I will never forget driving over a hill and all of a sudden being able to see the sun setting over the cliffs near Giant’s Causeway. We stayed at the cutest B&B called Finn McCool’s, which was recommended to us by a friend. We quickly parked and finished watching the sunset before it was gone! We ended up visiting many sights across Northern Ireland, including Bushmill’s, Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge, Dunluce Castle, and The Dark Hedges.
