St. Andrew UMC Wedding | Austin + Bridget

How They Met

St. Andrew UMC Wedding — Austin and Bridget went to high school together! After meeting through a mutual friend, Austin offered Bridget a job at the daycare where he was working. They quickly bonded over Forrest Gump and became very close friends. They remained close friends throughout high school and even college. Eventually, Austin asked Bridget out on a date to Coors Field and the rest is history! Bridget got him hooked on red wine and traveling, and Austin got her hooked on house plants. They can both quote the entirety of Forrest Gump (which they say might not be something to brag about. Ha!)

How He Proposed

April of last year, Austin brought Bridget and both of their families on a tour of Coors Field. Austin was noticeably agitated and anxious before they got there. The tour guide was very clear that they were only supposed to step on the warning track and not on the grass. So Bridget hesitated when Austin pulled her out onto the field at the end of the tour! He told her it was okay and that was when she knew he was about to propose! He took her hands and told her how much he loves her and asked Bridget to be his wife!

St. Andrew UMC Wedding

Bridget and Austin’s wedding day started off as a beautiful day, but by the time we got to the park for their first look, it was starting to sprinkle. Eventually, the rain came down harder and we had to move indoors. We met at their ceremony/reception location, St. Andrew UMC Wedding in Highlands Ranch. We started taking photos indoors and we were able to step outside for a few photos of Austin and Bridget when the rain let up! They had a beautiful and emotional ceremony at St. Andrew’s. After a few more photos, it was time to party! St. Andrew’s has a huge reception space so that’s where everyone ate a BBQ dinner together and danced the night away!

I loved their own personal touches that they added to their wedding, including the Forrest Gump references! These two really do go together like peas and carrots 😉 Congratulations, Austin and Bridget!!!

All of Bridget’s family’s cats were there to help her get ready 😉
