Samie & Thomas | The Pines at Genesee Wedding

Samie and Thomas are middle school sweethearts! Their brothers played on the same baseball team so Samie and Thomas would hang out during their baseball games. After several years of dating, Thomas proposed in Rome, Italy at sunset – talk about romantic! They were traveling around Europe for a whole month and Rome was their last stop. He proposed with his grandmother’s engagement ring which Thomas’ grandfather proposed with in Rome as well!

Their Pines at Genesee Wedding – Samie and Thomas got married at the Pines at Genesee last August (yes, last August – I’m SO behind on blogging!) You might remember these two from their super snowy engagement session here. They no longer live in Colorado so they had family and friends come from all over, including from their new home in Alabama! They had their first look outside and INCLUDED all of their closest family and friends, which I’ve never seen before! It was so fun to have everyone surround them and experience it together. Thomas is in the Air Force so he wore his uniform and their details were all red white and blue. Each centerpiece was a country/city that they traveled to with photos of them in that place! The entire day was full of authenticity, emotion, laughter, and joy…
