Lodge at Breckenridge Wedding Photos — When I first got to know Amanda and John on Skype, I knew we would be a good fit! We had so much in common including the fact that we met our significant others on Tinder, we share a love for adventure/mountains, and we both were planning late fall small weddings within just a few miles from each other!

Amanda and John live out of state, so a few months later after we Skyped they came to town! They were getting some ideas for their wedding near Lake Dillon, and we met at Officers Gulch for their engagement photos! (Which you can view here!)  I was able to learn more about these two, including their love of baseball!

On the morning of their wedding, we met at their AirBnb where they were getting ready. You guys. This AirBnb was UNREAL. So many levels and two of the best sunrooms I’ve ever seen with enormous floor to ceiling windows! So if you’re ever looking for an AirBnb in Colorado, just ask these two 😉 After they were ready, Amanda had a first look with her dad and then with John (which was the sweetest ever.)

We then made our way to The Lodge at Breckenridge, where we started some bridal party photos and then it was time for the ceremony! If you haven’t been to the Lodge at Breckenridge, they have the most incredible deck that overlooks the ski resort. Being mid October, you never know what you’re going to get with Colorado weather, especially in the mountains! It was 30 degrees that morning and had snowed the day before. However, by their ceremony time, it felt like summer with the hot sun shining down on everyone!

Pictures were something that Amanda and John really valued on their wedding day, so we spent a couple hours taking pictures on the lodge’s deck, then drove to Sapphire Point for photos of just the two of them. We stopped in downtown Breckenridge on the way back and took a few more around town. Once we had plenty of pictures, we went to Breckenridge Brewery for Happy Hour! Their family and friends were there waiting for them and it was such a fun time. The brewmaster even brought out a special beer for Amanda, John, and their guests to try! The whole day was so special and I sincerely hope it was everything that these two wanted. 30 of their closest friends and family members, a beautiful day in the mountains, and delicious beer. 🙂 Congratulations again, Amanda and John!!!
